Navridis Klimis

 

Klimis Navridis was born in Athens. He studied Finance in Athens and Paris and Social Psychology in Paris. He taught many years in the Ioannina and Athens universities in Greece and he is presently Emeritus Professor of Psychology in the Psychology Faculty at the University of Athens.

He also works as a psychoanalyst and group psychotherapist, he is a member of the Hellenic Society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and a member of the French and the Hellenic Associations of Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy (SFPPG and HSPPG).

He is the author of several books: Alice in the objects- land. The child as advertising object (1986), Clinical Social Psychology (1994), and Group Psychology. A clinical psychodynamic approach (2005) and Groupishness and inter-mediation (2011), and of more than 70 other scientific publications.

He was visiting Professor at the Universities of Louvain-La-Neuve (Belgium), Angers and Paris VII (France), and Scientific Editor in Chief of the magazine Psychology of the Hellenic Association of Psychology (2001-2005). Since 2006 he has been the President of the Hellenic Association of Psychology and from April 2010 to March 2012
