Beinoglou-Negri Helene

 

Helene Beinoglou-Negri is a psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist for adults, teenagers, couples and groups (Greek, French, English).

She grew up in Paris. She is a holder of the DESS de l’Enfance et de l’Adolescence de l’Université de Nanterre (Paris X). She is a founding member and teaching analyst of the Greek Society for Group Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and a regular member of the SNP (France), SFPPG (France).

She has worked in the private and public sector coordinating groups of educational and health workers as well as parents in France and Greece. She has taught at the Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital on the Pediatric Specialization of Nursing staff.

For the past 25 years, she works on Couples’ Therapy and Trauma, the analysis of transferential and countertransferential movements in couples’ therapy. She also engages in the modifications required in therapies of patients who have sustained sexual abuse or other forms of transgressions.

Her article « Wounded by reality: emotional deprivation and unresolved trauma in psychoanalytical couple’s therapy » was published in ATTACHMENT: New Directions in Psychotherapy and Relational Psychoanalysis, Vol. 15, December 2021: pp. 253–268.
